We are already in the month of May, but the temperature at night can still be punishing. Wandering in the revamped downtown Sunnyvale on a chilly evening, we made up our mind to warm and spice up our stomachs & souls...
Fortunately, we did not have to wander for long before identifying our target! Already cold & hungry, we enthusiastically went for the dinner buffet offered by the Turmeric restaurant.
The name of the restaurant easily invoked the nature of the cuisine, isn't it?? Upon a quick yelp for the restaurant review, we were already having some high expectation for Turmeric. The ambience and decoration certainly felt authentic with a touch of modern sophistication. But the main point was that we could not have been more eager to jump straight into the buffet!!
Offering plenty of vegetarian curries (4 out of 5) options, we were spoilt with choices. With the heavenly combination of the curries with naan or saffron rice, we could not help but went for multiple servings. Now you know why buffet can be, umm, unhealthy...because we ALWAYS go for more!

Losing counts... food coma @.@
A curious "side salad" consisting of green bean sprouts that was surprisingly tasty. It comfortably refreshed our taste buds in between our multiple servings of rich curries.
No buffet can be complete without desserts!! Mango puddings and the well-known Gulab (warm!!) more than satisfied our sweet tooth!
